Similarly to The New Day and The Usos on Night 1, your writer will happily accept that some folks will simply be fed up of seeing The Boss and The Role Model go at each other's throats. But those people should probably bear in mind that the best-friends-turned-bitter-enemies were forced to finally tell their gripping main roster singles story in front of LED screens last year. And the fact that Bayley wasn't given anything at all to do on last year's show, outside of being Bella'd by Nikki and Brie, is still shocking.

'Mania 38 owes us and the Bayley/Banks saga big time. So, that's why, judging from the way the title pictures will probably/hopefully play out this year, now is the perfect time to simultaneously gift fans in attendance the chance to roar on two of the finest performers of their generation and definitively blow off a war for the ages.

In allowing Sasha and Bayley to get personal and ramp the drama up to eleven in the lead-up to this one last grudge match - with Bayley blasting her former pal for stealing her spot heading into 'Mania 37, perhaps - WWE also has the chance to pull off a feat that shouldn't have taken this long to achieve; that of producing a compelling programme worthy of a showcase spot on the 'Mania card, without a title in sight.

The former Golden Role Models don't just deserve a chance to bring the 'Mania fans to their feet, we're all well overdue a Boss 'n' Hug connection in front of a live crowd.
