4. Demon Finn Balor Vs. Karrion Kross

Oh, what a difference a few months have made to the two stars who came to blows over the NXT Championship during this year's 'Mania week NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver Night 2 event.

Back then, Finn Balor was the dominant black and gold Championship-wearing Prxnce, seeing off many a challenger and stealing the show during one of the brand's darkest periods. Karrion Kross was also destined to lead the developmental brand into their next chapter, a star-in-the-making with all the theatrics and physical prowess needed to be a top name when the time came to jump up to the main roster.

Fast forward a few months, and both Balor and Kross find themselves in rather murky waters. The Demon King fell victim to a dodgy turnbuckle at Extreme Rules, while The Bringer of Doomsday has had about as much direction as a kite in the wind. In short, both men need a programme that will put them back on the main roster map in a big way.

It's reasonable to admit that The Demon King persona and aura has taken a rather substantial hit post-Reigns loss. But having him torment a Kross character on the brink of insanity could open the door for the mother of all beatdowns on The Grandest Stage and perhaps a performance that finally produces some noise aimed at the limply received one-time NXT overlord from the WWE Universe.

Failing that, giving Finn a squash win over Kross would also be welcomed with open arms at a time when victorious other-worldly characters are something of a dying breed in this current WWE landscape. Either way, don't expect this one to go on long.
