Randy Orton has enjoyed an unexpected surge in popularity recently, all thanks to the magic of social media. The Viper, often criticised as one of the most stale figures in the WWE, has found himself trending on Twitter over the past few days - entirely due to the creativity of Vine users. Fans have delighted in editing Orton into otherwise ordinary clips of people falling, usually accompanied by Michael Cole's cries of "RKO! RKO!" There's a reason these videos have caught on. The RKO is an incredibly popular finishing move (more popular, some would argue, than Randy himself), primarily due to its impact, versatility, and impressive aesthetics. It's fast, loud, and Orton can build to it slowly or bust it out in the blink of an eye. Although some of the Vines are reasonably well made, and the vast majority of them pretty damn funny, there's no substitute for the real thing. We thought it would be a good idea to look back over Orton's WWE career and pick out ten of his best RKOs.
