4. Billy Kidman vs. Shane Helms - SmackDown 2001
On the July 5, 2001 episode of the show, WWE tried to showcase the WCW Cruiserweight division to their audience, and both Billy Kidman and Shane Helms would have a lot more success than their heavyweight counterparts, Bagwell and Booker T, had experienced just days earlier on Raw. Putting on a great little match, Kidman and Helms represented the WCW crew magnificently, and had the crowd hooked with their smooth transitions, memorable high spots (the crowd adored Kidman's Shooting Star Press) and generally great wrestling. It wouldn't be long before Helms donned the mask and cape to portray The Hurricane, and Billy Kidman himself would have a few runs with the Cruiserweight gold, but Kidman would never really top his debut, looking like the incendiary talent many had pin-pointed him as for years in WCW.
