The Horsemen as faces just never seemed to work anywhere near as well as the Horsemen as heels, so any time they decided to put on the white hats (with the exception of the nWo times) something didn’t feel right. The Horsemen were at their finest when acting as violent antagonists to the top babyfaces in the company. Who was WCW’s biggest all time babyface? Sting of course.

What business did Sting have being a Horseman? Whilst he may fit the bill being a top-tier worker with impeccable reputation, he was exactly the top of character who should only ever have opposed to the Horsmen, not on their side.

Sting was a Horseman for less than six months, between the end of 1989 and the beginning of 1990.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
