1. WrestleMania: Farewell, Deadman

The Undertaker WrestleMania 33
WWE.com

Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker was godawful. Slow, sloppy, and disjointed, it saw 'The Deadman' labour through the saddest performance of his career. He looked lost against a vastly superior athlete in Reigns, who, despite considerable effort, couldn't elevate his battle-weary opponent to something acceptable, resulting in one of WrestleMania's worst modern main events.

But as bad as the match was, the aftermath was absolutely sublime.

Tired, destroyed, and defeated, 'Taker let Roman run through his latest failed coronation, then came back to life. He shed his coat, gloves, and hat, left them in a neat pile in the middle of the ring, then broke character to kiss his wife at ringside, lending a hefty dose of gravitas to what felt very much like a last 'goodbye.' Then, with his gear (and seemingly his career) behind him, Undertaker plodded up the ramp, threw an iconic fist in the air, and left us with a gong.

If this was 'Taker's retirement ceremony, and we never see him again, then this was an incredible farewell visual. It felt real, not scripted, and while it'd certainly stand stronger on the back of a better match, it was a near-perfect moment in isolation.
