3. In Your House: Mind Games (1996)
Its a match thats so good, its appeared on countless compilation DVDs. Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind. Its the match that Mick Foley has named as his favorite of all time (to which he admits people reply, huh?). But it really is that good. The dichotomy of styles between Michaelss high flying and Mankinds brawling was on display. The scene of Philadelphia, which was already in ECW fever, was perfect for this kind of match. Michaels got to tap into his hardcore side, and the match featured a double dive into a table, which set the table for the types of table-breaking that would go on in the Attitude Era. The match didnt end definitively (sigh), but it was good enough to still be revered to this day, almost 20 years later. The Pay Per View also featured Owen Hart and the British Bulldog winning the tag team titles from the Smoking Gunns, beginning a reign that would last until the following May. The Undertaker faced Goldust in a Final Curtain match, and Mark Henry made his WWF debut, defeating Jerry Lawler.
