Booker T and Chris Benoit opened the 2005 Survivor Series with a tremendous United States Title showcase. This was the first bout of their 'Best Of 7 Series'. Triple H also concocted a brilliant 'Last Man Standing' war with Ric Flair, and John Cena faced Kurt Angle in a cool match. The main event was a battle of the brands, as 'Team Smackdown' emerged victorious over 'Team Raw'. There was a lot to enjoy on the show, which felt well-stacked with good matches.
