Ranking All Of Goldberg’s WWE Return Matches From Worst To Best
7. Royal Rumble 2017
You might've forgotten that Goldberg appeared in the 2017 Royal Rumble, had a hot face-to-face with The Undertaker that popped the live crowd (no, really) and eliminated three men during a three-minute cameo in the match; Bill ousted Rusev, Luke Harper and Brock Lesnar that night.
Then, 'Taker sent him flying over the top rope to the floor himself, and it seemed for one brief second like Super ShowDown 2019 might happen two years early at 'Mania 33. That wasn't in WWE plans, but the tease was actually very nice. If nothing else, it added an unpredictable vibe to the Rumble hubbub.
Short and sweet would sum up Goldberg's run in the match, which isn't actually a bad thing. He was hyped up to show out here, and managed to work in significant staredowns with both The Undertaker and eventual WrestleMania foe Brock Lesnar.
Goldberg complemented everything else going on, and that's why this is so high on the list.
