Nonetheless, he was handed the opportunity to work against The Undertaker in October, 2007. 'Taker was being readied for a Hell In A Cell match against Batista at Survivor Series. Therefore, some squashes were needed to prepare him for the World Heavyweight Title showdown. Jamie Noble was deemed perfect for the role, and he faced Undertaker on the October 19th, 2007 episode of Smackdown. The show was taped in Birmingham, England and headlined by a match pitting MVP against Rey Mysterio. The Undertaker vs. Jamie Noble went on before that featured bout, and it proved to be a short one. In just over one minute, Undertaker vanquished his foe and marched on. Due to the incredibly brief length, this match has to be considered the least important 'The Deadman' has ever had on UK shores.
