1. Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker (One Night Only, 1997)
It's somewhat poignant that the final entry on this list is from the WWF's first standalone UK Pay-Per-View presentation. In September, 1997, fans in Britain were in a frenzy over 'One Night Only'. This was the first event on this size in the UK for years, and it was a hot ticket. Business may have been iffy in the States, but the WWF were guaranteed to enrapture people across the Atlantic Ocean. The main event was never in question. Shawn Michaels would battle The British Bulldog for the WWF European Title. This relegated the WWF Heavyweight Title bout to the secondary position. In this instance, it was necessary, because Bulldog was so beloved in his native England. Right before Davey Boy Smith faced Michaels, Bret Hart defended the WWF Title against The Undertaker. In years to come, there would allegations levied against several stars that they 'phoned in' performances on the UK shows. That was not the case with 'Taker and Bret, who went close to 30 minutes during their match. Indeed, this was every bit as good as the match they had just contested at SummerSlam the month prior. It remains The Undertaker's finest hour on UK shores. Are you looking forward to The Undertaker's next UK WWE appearance? Do you agree with the order of the rankings here?
