8. Chris Jericho Vs. Jon Moxley (Revolution 2020)

Jon Moxley vs. Chris Jericho found itself in a difficult position as the main event of the inaugural Revolution pay-per-view. It had to follow a card stacked from top to bottom, including what many have since classed the greatest tag team match ever.

So, did they fall flat like their Extreme Rules 2016 Asylum Match, or did they deliver? It's a rather clear answer, really.

Moxley and Jericho worked at a brisk pace throughout the contest, with the main stories being a) Moxley's injured eye, and b) Jericho sinking to nefarious means in a bid to walk out with the title intact. Together, they crafted a beautiful story that only AEW can create. Referee Aubrey Edwards also played a pivotal role here - she refused to rule the match a double count out, despite things spilling out into the crowd. It's the little things like that which make a match.

A Sammy Guevara run-in couldn't prevent the inevitable. Mox unveiled his eye, which had healed, hit a Paradigm Shift, and usurped 'Le Champion' to become All Elite's second World Champion.

The timing on this couldn't have been better. Revolution took place on 29 February, mere weeks before shows went behind closed doors. Chris Jericho dropping a World Championship to Jon Moxley with no fans in attendance just doesn't sound right.
