Ranking Every AEW & WWE Show In 2021 From Worst To Best
6. WWE | Money In The Bank
The Money in the Bank matches were good as always and had the right amount of space between them so the live crowd wasn't fatigued. As much as seeing Nikki A.S.H .win the money in the Bank contract was a feel-good moment, it felt like a real waste by SummerSlam. On top of that, it seemed that Naomi, Asuka, and Liv Morgan were fan favorites that yet again were not capitalized on by WWE.
On the other hand, the right person won the men's Money In The Bank contract. With a full year of build, Big E made it to the top of the mountain to a huge crowd reaction. There were also veterans of the ladder match stipulation like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and John Morrison to help move the action along, while Ricochet got his moment to fly around the ring and entertain the crowd.
The rest of the card was just as good, with Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley yet again putting on one of the best matches of the night while Roman Reigns Vs. Edge headlined the event. Seth Rollins would cost Edge the match as the build to SummerSlam begins.
