Ranking Every AEW & WWE Show In 2021 From Worst To Best
7. WWE | Crown Jewel
Crown Jewel was surprisingly one of the stronger pay-per-views that WWE put on this year, right at the tail end.
It seemed that the company wanted to make sure their first Saudi show back was a big success and it didn't disappoint on the whole. The only downside to the event, beyond the obvious moral concerns, was the match between Bobby Lashley and Goldberg, which was overlong and featured the wrong outcome.
Despite Zelina Vega winning the Queen's Crown tournament, which she rightly deserved, the match between her and Doudrop didn't have the same feel as their previous encounter at Worlds Collide.
The best matches of the night were the Hell in a Cell between Seth Rollins and Edge which was a beautifully crafted piece of storytelling while the women's triple threat match for the SmackDown Women's Championship felt like a truly groundbreaking moment for the company and the country of Saudi Arabia. Elsewhere, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesner continued their longstanding feud in the main event and this time the Trible Cheif got the upper hand.
