Ranking Every AEW & WWE Show In 2021 From Worst To Best
8. AEW | Revolution
AEW's first pay-per-view of the year was Revolution, which included Kenny Omega Vs. Jon Moxley in the main event while Hikaru Shida and The Young Bucks retaining their championships on the night. This show had everything from a battle royal, to a ladder match, to an incredible cinematic match.
The only low point where the matches between Best Friends, Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy, and Miro and Kip Sabian, and Hangman Adam Page's bout with Matt Hardy, but with AEW low points seem to just be "average" - and that's what these were. Hikaru Shida facing off against Ryo Mizunami was a highlight of the night with the AEW faithful getting the chance to see why joshi wrestling is some of the best in the world.
The match between Team Taz and Darby Allin and Sting was a cinematic masterpiece, and the storytelling was on point. Sting was protected while the location and color pallet made you feel like you were in Allin and Sting's domain. Apart from the disappointing end to the exploding barbed wire deathmatch, the match as a whole was out of this world, while not to everyone's taste, it surely made any deathmatch fan very happy.
