Ranking Every Hell In A Cell Match In WWE History - From Worst To Best

2. The Undertaker Vs. Triple H

As much as I loved this match in the first place, somehow it seems to have got better with age, to the point that I’d now happily rank it above the aforementioned Cell match from King of the Ring 1998. So that’s exactly what I’ve decided to roll with here.

As if the Undertaker vs. Triple H inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 28 didn’t sound mouth-watering enough, Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee in a match that certainly lived up to its "End of an Era" billing.

For me, the best part of this match was the storytelling, and all three men played their own vital part in building the drama to perfection. Perhaps the best moment of all was what may go down as the greatest near-fall in history, as Undertaker somehow kicked out of a Sweet Chin Music and Pedigree combination, with Shawn’s look of utter disbelief a brilliant summary of how everybody felt.

Naturally there were further moments of magic to enjoy over the course of this 30-minute affair. In my eyes though, it was the attention to detail in the storytelling of this one that sees it just edge out ‘Taker vs. Mankind.
