This is a deserving top spot.

Ilja Dragunov was fabulous as NXT Champion before dropping the belt. He's one of the most intense performers WWE has on their books, and it would've been a total waste to keep him on the developmental brand. SmackDown seemed to be Ilja's most likely destination pre-Draft, but he's on Raw instead.

The best thing about Dragunov is that he'll make the most of any opportunity creative gives him. He's a better talker than some give him credit for, and Ilja's match quality ranges from good-stunning regardless of opponent. Enjoy the ride if you're new to him, people!
