Randy Orton vs. Triple H - Wrestlemania 25
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbf3y6yeNXw Just one year after Randy Orton, Triple H & John Cena main evented Wrestlemania 24 for the WWE title, Orton and The Game would do it again at Wrestlemania 25. The set-up to the match involved the history of Triple H & Orton, stemming from the moment that Randy was booted out of Evolution for winning the World title. 5 years later Orton was getting his revenge, but for the storyline, that meant getting the McMahon family involved in the main event of Wrestlemania yet again. Orton attacked Vince, Shane & Stephanie McMahon leading up to Wrestlemania, inspiring Triple H to go on a crusade of vengeance. Given that the match was supposed to be personal and anger-fuelled, for some unknown reason the stipulations were that of a traditional match, and Triple H would lose his title is he were counted out or disqualified. Now I'm not one for relying on weapons and blood to tell a story, but it would've made sense in the circumstances of the match, and could've made the match better than it was. In fairness, the match did immediately follow probably the greatest match ever. The match didn't necessarily require Orton to win the Royal Rumble match either, meaning that spot could've been used to establish a new star instead.
