It could only be Kurt Angle.

As well as holding it over more days and reigns than any other wrestler, Kurt Angle always made TNA/Impact Wrestling feel twice as big as it actually was. Alongside Samoa Joe, the 'Olympic Hero' actually drew buys for pay-per-views, and against a more diverse roster than WWE at the time, Angle shone between the ropes.

As heel or face, the 'Wrestling Machine' was the guy to beat in TNA from his first day. Nobody before or after has made the company's hugest honour feel quite as huge.
