Developing into an annual tradition for much of the late-2000s, Sting's role as the TNA Championship's saviour at Bound For Glory was a pleasant one.

Building nicely from the character's life in WCW as much of his Impact run did, 'The Stinger' always felt right with the belt, dutifully doing his best to protect its integrity when many colleagues and the company itself seemed less inclined.

It was Sting, for f*cks sake. The organisation was lucky to have him.
