If you're in the mood to hear a big pop followed by some genuine heat, check out Jeff Hardy beating Johnny Nitro for the Intercontinental Title on that same 13 November 2006 Raw from Manchester. People went wild for Jeff's win, then booed the hell out of Nitro for attacking from behind as Hardy celebrated.

The match went close to 12 minutes and is exactly what you'd expect from guys with this level of talent. Nitro would morph into John Morrison the next year and eventually threaten the main event scene, but it's clear even from watching this first post-MNM run that he had potential. As for Jeff, well, he was coming into his own in '06.

This ranks as a real hidden gem in the history of the Intercontinental Title. Melina's work around ringside and facial expressions are also something to study for any fledgling manager.
