Ranking Every WCW Champion In History - From Worst To Best
6. Booker T
As a fan who grew up with the Invasion storyline, there’s a chance that my own personal bias might be shining through once more here. After all, when Booker T came into the WWE in the summer of 2001, he was portrayed as the very top guy that WCW had to offer.
Still, that portrayal probably wasn’t too far from the actual truth, as proved by Booker T’s title record. In total, the former tag team specialist went on to accrue five World Heavyweight Championships; four in WCW and one in WWE.
Each of those reigns came during the final days of the company’s existence, but unlike other multi-time champions of the late-2000s, such as Jeff Jarrett, Booker’s stints with the belt were much longer than you might have initially expected.
Reigns of 50 days, 55 days and 120 days mean that the Book man has the fourth-most combined days as WCW Champion in history, which is no small feat given the backdrop of those wins.
