Ranking Every WCW Champion In History - From Worst To Best

3. Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is another former WCW World Heavyweight Champion who’s no stranger to setting records.

The Hulkster boasts the two longest reigns in company history; 359 days between August 1996 and August 1997, as well as the colossal 469 days as champ between July 1994 and October 1995. Naturally, that means that he’s also racked up the most combined days as champion in the title’s history, with a whopping 1,177 days spent with the belt around his waist.

You could argue his record is blemished slightly by the Fingerpoke of Doom that marred one of his six reigns, but even so it’s still an almighty resume he’s put together.

The only thing preventing Hogan from ranking any higher is his non-WCW roots. Having made his name under Vince McMahon, he was technically always a WWE guy at heart, and ultimately that means there are a couple of others who were rather more synonymous with that WCW title belt.
