Ranking Every WCW Champion In History - From Worst To Best

12. Kevin Nash

In terms of actual starpower, Kevin Nash is probably the biggest name to feature on this list so far. And truth be told, his ranking here is largely based on that star power, because the actual reigns he had as WCW World Heavyweight Champion were hardly the most iconic of all time.

Nash held the belt on an impressive five occasions, but for a rather more underwhelming total of 97 days. Some of his less glorious runs include the aforementioned tenure of less than a day before surrendering the belt to Sid Vicious, a six-day spell in May 2000 as well as the eight-day reign of late-1998 that gave us the infamous Fingerpoke of Doom angle.

As you can see, Nash may have been a prolific WCW Champion, but he wasn’t necessarily a successful one, providing us with probably the most telling example on this list than quantity doesn’t always equal quality.
