Another WrestleMania trapped in the black hole of the unsustainable special guest era for the 'Show Of Shows', the 2013 New York/New Jersey based affair dragged at points, but had enough broadly entertaining encounters to far surpass the last tepid two stadium showcases.

The Shield earned their first 'Grandest Stage' spotlight with victory over the turgid trio of Randy Orton, The Big Show and Sheamus, whilst CM Punk gave The Undertaker his last great WrestleMania moment in an exhilarating consolation prize for the former WWE Champion.

The Rock and John Cena engaged in a far superior sequel to their bloated 'Once In A Lifetime' original, whilst Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan foreshadowed their brief World/WWE Title runs later in the year with exceptional efforts in an underrated Tag Time Title clash buried in the midcard.
