15. WrestleMania 23

A lengthy-but-tremendous WrestleMania continued a hot streak for the organisation since permanently increasing the run-time in 2004, thanks in large part to the popcorn match happening to be one of the most entertaining and the show's top draw.

Donald Trump and Vince McMahon's 'Battle Of The Billionaires' (via respective avatars Bobby Lashley and Umaga) was a mammoth success at the box office and inside Detroit's huge Ford Field. Elsewhere, The Undertaker and Batista stole the show from underneath Shawn Michaels and John Cena as much to prove why they shouldn't have been in the middle of the card in the first place. Both title matches were absolutely fabulous in their own right, but 'The Deadman' and 'The Animal' comfortably outworked 'The Champ' and 'Mr WrestleMania' himself.
