Money In The Bank Ranked

Well, it would feel wrong to have this event any lower in the rankings when considering the most memorable moments throughout the years.

Both Money In The Bank winners were deserved and, whilst Del Rio's win was much easier to predict, nobody saw Daniel Bryan's victory coming and his eventual success came as a shock to everyone watching.

Also during the titular matches, Sin Cara took a sickening powerbomb through a ladder, courtesy of 'The Celtic Warrior'. In that same bout, Justin Gabriel scaled the top rope, and then the ladder led across it and hit a 450 splash on Kane which drew a huge reaction.

Of course, this show was not without its faults. The 'Divas' match was uninspiring. Similarly, Big Show vs. Mark Henry failed to impress the live audience - or fans at home, for that matter.

However, the most memorable moment of this pay-per-view - perhaps even all of 2011 - is the final match on the show.

The intense WWE Championship bout between John Cena and CM Punk was a half an hour brawl that had so much riding on it. Either John Cena could retain his title and CM Punk would leave the company empty-handed. Or, Cena would lose the match and be subsequently fired, whilst Punk would take the WWE Championship and leave the company.

The match was a classic, with both men putting in the performance of a lifetime. The story surrounding this match was incredibly captivating and it blurred the lines between reality and pre-determined story. Also, the event took place in Punk's hometown of Chicago, which meant that the reaction to his victory was much more intense than it would have been elsewhere.

Punk's victory saw the 'Voice of the Voiceless' capture the WWE Championship and hop over the barricade, blowing Vince McMahon a kiss in a now-infamous camera shot.

This event will forever be regarded as one of the best Money In The Bank pay-per-views of all time, with the finale of the show burned into the memory of diehard WWE fans for years to come.
