9. "The Recognised Symbol Of Excellence"

The eye-catching opener is brilliant in its simplicity, but hasn't aged well compared to some of the latter efforts. The luxurious logo welding itself amongst the galaxy was at very least a reminder to many new fans moving away from their regional wrestling show to Vince McMahon's all-singing alternative that this was something bigger than they'd ever seen before.

Like just about everything else in the organisation, the authoritative "recognised symbol of excellence in Sports Entertainment" tagline hyperbolically overstated itself.
