Ranking Every WWE SmackDown "Throwback" From Worst To Best

2. Various Walks Down Memory Lane

It wouldn't be a celebration of all things SmackDown without a few pulsating walks down memory lane.

With over twenty years of material to choose from though, it was always going to be tough to settle on just a handful of notable showdowns, segments, and special guest appearances. But for the most part, WWE got their selections spot on.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Booker T warring around a supermarket, Brock Lesnar and Big Show pulverising a ring, John Cena's eye-catching debut, Arnold Schwarzenegger's memorable showing, and Eddie Guerrero taking Vince McMahon for a spin in his low-rider are all undoubtedly all-timer moments from the blue brand. But they also depressingly acted as a reminder of just how unmemorable the modern product has been as of late.

Also, leave it to WWE to find a way to wedge Hulk Hogan into the celebration of a show that he only dipped his toe into for ten minutes, highlighting his tag title victory alongside Edge back in 2002. Yet, all in all, it was still pretty sweet to remember the good times before arenas were filled with more LED screens than actual live audience members.
