Ranking Every WWE Survivor Series Main Event From Worst To Best

6. Hulk Hogan's Team Vs Andre The Giant's Team (1987)

27 Goldberg Brock Lesnar Survivor Series

The introduction to this article touched on the very reason Survivor Series came to be in the first place, and the inaugural main event made mincemeat of anything NWA's Starrcade could offer in response.

Vince McMahon's promotional tact in its purest form, the main event featured big stars, big stories, and big men.

Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant touched on pay-per-view for the first time since WrestleMania III, whilst the heel side spilled over with tonnage thanks to girthy former and future Hogan foes King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang. That's not to remotely suggest that Rick Rude, Butch Reed, Bam Bam Bigelow, Don Muraco and Paul Orndorff and the others making up the numbers on either side were somehow small. The opposition's main event - Ric Flair vs Rugged Ronnie Garvin - laughably was.
