Ranking Every WWE To AEW Move From Worst To Best
18. Kyle O'Reilly
Just edging out his reDRagon teammate thanks to his run of highly impressive singles showings before also falling victim to AEW's recent injury curse, Kyle O'Reilly looked destined for the NXT main event spotlight this time last year.
But with the black and gold show being entirely revamped and skewed more towards amateur athletes and muscular "Superstars" not long after signing off his dramatic feud with Adam Cole, the writing was on the wall for the one-time Undisputed Era wrestler.
Sure enough, O'Reilly soon jumped at the chance to link back up with Cole and Fish in AEW, attacking Orange Cassidy in his bout with the former just a few weeks on from his last 2.0 appearance.
And AEW's pushing of O'Reilly as another serious singles contender in the lead-up to his untimely injury recently was quickly rewarded with a string of excellent bouts against everyone from Jon Moxley to Darby Allin. Combine that with the aforementioned reDRagon tag clinics and the sky appears to be the limit for Kool Kyle.
