The McMahon Family have always been guilty of putting themselves in the spotlight. Even something as enormous as WCW and ECW invading WWE eventually became about Vince McMahon and his children. It was nauseating and is finally a thing of the past, but one of the most talent-rich rosters in WWE history led to a bizarre main event for WrestleMania 2000.

Coming at the height of the Attitude Era, WWE Champion Triple H, The Rock, Mick Foley, and The Big Show in a Fatal Four Way as the main event of the biggest show of the year makes a lot of sense. The problem that plagued this match came with the stipulation that each of the competitors would have a different McMahon in their corner. It wasn't needed, it wasn't wanted, and yet here we are.

As if this wasn't McMahon-centric enough, the match was decided by Vince McMahon turning heel on The Rock to align with Triple H and help him retain his WWE Championship. It was the first time a heel had ever won the main event of WrestleMania, but the night was all about Vince because of course it was.
