Ranking Top 10 WCW Main Eventers In WWE
3. Ric Flair

For over a decade, Ric Flair was WCW. No matter how badly management wanted him out of the spotlight at times, and tried to replace him with others, they always came back to Flair. He was simply too popular with too many fans to be kept off TV. Besides that, he could always be relied on as one of the top in-ring performers in the company.
In 2002, one day after The Invasion angle ended, Flair came back to the WWE after spending time there in the early 90s. It was initially a blast, as he was cast as a 50% owner of WWE and set off to battle Vince McMahon. For some reason, the company gave up on the idea of co-owners, and Flair returned to the ring on a full-time basis. He came up short against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 19, and then faced off against younger guys like Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam.
In Evolution, he remained in a relevant role, and tutored Batista and Randy Orton before moving on to more solo action. This time it wasn't so good. He was in thrown together tag teams like with Carlito, and generally lost his one-on-one matches. It wasn't until his last few months before WrestleMania 24 that WWE seemed to care about him again. Flair got a first class sendoff, and then left the company later on to continue an in-ring career. After returning from TNA, he makes occasional appearances for the company in one-off roles that are generally hit-or-miss.
