Chad Baxter's great body didn't equate to a great body of work. The developmental talent worked twice for FCW before amassing a handful of mostly non-televised NXT matches before eating a release at the end of 2012.

Reduced to squash fodder even when the cameras weren't switched on, he was one of many that lost to an unstoppable Big E Langston on NXT, and even fell short in a handicap match against Trent Barreta even though the future best friend was the one flying solo.

A collectors item match - should you wish to track it down - would probably be the second of his entire career. In a fatal four way elimination match at an FCW event in 2012, he worked against the original version of The Ascension (Connor O'Brian and Kenneth Cameron), Jason Jordan & Mike Dalton (Tyler Breeze) and Brad Maddox & Rick Victor.
