Ric Flair has issued a rebuttal to claims that he has tested positive for the illness currently sweeping the globe.

Yesterday saw the New York Post release an article citing claims from a source that 'The Nature Boy' had tested positive last Wednesday, though Flair told the Post "that is absolutely incorrect." He added that his wife, Wendy Barlow, is suffering from it, though he is currently living in the basement of their 5,000-foot home while she quarantines on the third floor.

Flair hung up before further questions could be asked, though he insisted that his "health is excellent."

The Post article included a photograph of Ric not wearing a mask while paying by cash at a Starbucks drive-through despite using his Facebook page to insist his followers use face coverings while out in public. The 71-year-old did this through a partnership with the American College of Surgeons, making several similar posts over the past few months.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Flair was not brought to WWE's tapings in Orlando, Florida yesterday. Barlow is said to be in recovery after overcoming the worst symptoms, though she was in bad shape at one point.
