With WWE ticket prices continuing to increase to ever-more-crazy levels in recent years, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi is the latest name to slam the company's pricing policy.

Speaking on the latest edition of his Off the Top Rope podcast (via f4wonline), Rikishi talked about how tickets used to be $25 or $50 "back in the day", and that a front row seat would set you back somewhere in the region of $75. Now, though, "you really got to hit the lottery to even sit up in the nosebleeds."

The former Intercontinental Champion also discussed how hard it is to get comp tickets for friends and family these days, despite him currently being under a WWE Legends contract, not to mention his family ties, including being the father of the Usos and Solo Sikoa.

As Rikishi put it:

"You would think that family members and friends, close friends, you still have those comp tickets, but there is no comp tickets. I can probably try to get like a [discount], but what’s a discount nowadays, like, $1,000 a ticket? That’s still, for a family of five and a man working 9 to 5 through the whole week, and the whole family loves wrestling, it’s very difficult to be able to take a family to events."

On that same episode, Rikishi discussed a time when he had some trouble getting access to the backstage area of a WWE event, with his name not on a formal access list, and the venue security not knowing who he was. In the end, 'Kish was successful in getting backstage after showing his access pass... and his WWE Hall of Fame ring.
