Given the news that Seth Rollins tore the MCL of his right knee during his scuffle with Samoa Joe on this past Monday Night Raw, it will come as no particular surprise that WWE have announced the former two-time champ is set to miss the weekend's house show events.

The big question surrounding the injury is whether Rollins will be able to return in time for WrestleMania, where it was presumed he would settle his long-time beef with Triple H. In a statement released this morning, the company promised that the whole picture will become a lot clearer on this week's Raw.

On average, an MCL tear typically takes six weeks to heal, although an early prognosis has suggested an eight-week layoff for The Shield founder. WrestleMania 33 will take place on 2 April - just over eight weeks away.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
