But fear not, for the Bulgarian Brute will still be appearing on next Monday's Raw.

For those wondering what happened to Rusev after being dragged out of a swanky restaurant on this past Monday’s Raw, WWE has now issued an update on the status of the Bulgarian Brute.

In a statement from WWE, it was confirmed that Rusev was arrested by the Cleveland Police Department following his attack on Bobby Lashley on Monday night. If you remember, Rusev turned up to confront Lashley after The AllMighty and Lana were making boo-boo eyes at each other.

Fear not, for Rusev was released by the cops after no charges were pressed by either Lashley or Lana. And not just that, but Rusev will be on Monday’s Raw from Kansas City as audiences groan to themselves at the fact that this storyline is powering forward.

The Bulgarian Brute will be in attendance for Raw on Monday Night in Kansas City, Mo. following his chaotic attack on The All Mighty at a local fine-dining establishment.

Rusev’s rage was sparked during an appearance on “King’s Court” when Lana and Lashley appeared on the TitanTron while enjoying an extravagantly romantic meal. The former United States Champion knew the exact location of the restaurant and stormed out of the arena to pay the devious lovebirds a visit.

Seriously, is anybody actually even slightly interested in this angle? From the soaring highs and surges in popularity of the early days of Rusev Day… to watching your wife getting all Lady and the Tramp with some jacked-up dude while you get held off by some feeble-looking rent-a-cops.

Poor, poor Rusev.
