Sasha Banks has signed a new long-term WWE contract.

Though this story was originally reported by Wrestling Observer Live earlier this month, it has now been confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who reached out to four separate sources on the matter and claims that one reckons Banks' contract extension kicked in when she returned to television back in August.

'The Boss'' tumultuous 2019 has been covered to death on this site and many others, but here's hoping she can look forward to a long, prosperous future with WWE, having returned to major prominence via her programme with Becky Lynch.

Lynch vs. Banks I ended when 'The Man' was disqualified for accidentally striking the referee with a steel chair. The duo will now rematch inside Hell In A Cell on this Sunday's pay-per-view, with recent weeks seeing Lynch side with rival Charlotte Flair against Banks and Bayley. The four are currently set to face off in blockbuster tag team match when SmackDown debuts on FOX this Friday night.

As confusing as her future looked a few months ago, Banks could now leave Hell In A Cell as Raw Women's Champion. That's one hell of a turnaround.
