2. The MFTs Look…Threatening?!

Solo Sikoa MFTS Sami Zayn Shinsuke Nakamura

Last week, this guy said that Solo Sikoa and his MFT faction would really struggle if they planned to add more members to the lineup. The good news is that...they didn't. Not really. Tama Tonga returned on Friday's show in Australia and stopped the United States Title match between Zayn and Nakamura short by attacking the latter from ringside.

Then, he zipped down his hooded top to show the full extent of a painted face. It looked badass. Soon, Tama was joined by Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo. All of them had similar face paints. Credit where it's due. This is the first time the MFT group has looked properly menacing since rebranding away from The Bloodline name. They all seemed to know it too; Jeff Cobb looked like a totally different beast by going semi-Papa Shango.

Thank God then that Solo wasn't talking about heaping more members into this thing. He was referring to Tama last week, and Tonga's comeback is very much welcome. The face painted look is one the stable should keep. It really does work for them. Later in the show, they had a cool showdown with The Wyatt Sicks that implies the MFT faction want to challenge for multiple titles sooner rather than later.

Don't forget that Sikoa dropped the US Title to Zayn on the 29 August SmackDown before Sami started running his 'Open Challenge' bit. Solo is coming back for that prize, and he'll send a few of his freshly painted pals into the tag division to (hopefully) take some other pieces of gold from The Sicks.

This is a vast improvement already, at least in terms of overall presentation.
