WWE taped next week's episode of SmackDown ahead of time this past Friday night.

Clearly, this was done due to next weekend's hectic travel schedule - WWE stars will fly out to Saudi Arabia for the bumper Crown Jewel special a few days before Saturday's show. That'd make shooting SmackDown on the Friday rather difficult, so the company doubled up on content this week.

Spoilers have already been leaked for the tapings, so tread carefully if you don't want to know what happened. This is your final warning! Right, here are the results:

Liv Morgan beat Sonya Deville in a 'No DQ' match, and LA Knight defeated Ricochet. Then, The Bloodline brawled with The Usos before The Brawling Brutes made the save. That was followed by Shayna Baszler (with Ronda Rousey) beating Natalya and Braun Strowman winning a five-on-one handicap effort.

In the main event spot, GUNTHER retained his Intercontinental Title vs. Rey Mysterio. Fans tuning in next week should expect that match to steal the show - GUNTHER's reign has been stellar thus far, and Rey seems like the ideal opponent for him right now.
