4. Stephanie vs. Lita - Raw (August 21, 2000)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yRmpA5Wc88 After months of reigning over the Divas division with the assistance of Triple H, Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus, Tori and anyone else she could convince to help her, Stephanie McMahon finally got what was coming to her on the August 21, 2000 episode of Raw, just six days before the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Her opponent was Lita, the hottest young female star in wrestling and a woman who had been screwed out of the Women's Championship numerous times in the weeks and months preceding that fateful summer night. With WWE champion The Rock serving as guest referee, thus ensuring that neither Angle nor Triple H would play a role in the outcome, the stage was set for the much-awaited coronation of the extreme Diva. Fans in Lafayette roared in approval as Lita tossed Stephanie around the squared circle and planted her head-first with a nasty headscissors takedown. Of course, Stephanie turned the tide and did manage to benefit from some outside interference from her husband and her crush but a major miscommunication on the heels' part and a big spinebuster from Rock to Stephanie left her motionless in the center of the ring. Lita climbed the ropes, delivered the moonsault and scored the win and the first Women's Championship of her Hall of Fame career. Stephanie's reign of terror was over and there was a locker room full of Divas and millions of fans around the world that were extremely grateful for it.
