Steve Cutler Set For IMPACT Wrestling Debut
Now Steve Maclin, the former Forgotten Son is on his way to the IMPACT Zone.
Steve Maclin - formerly known as Steve Cutler - has become the latest former WWE star snapped up by IMPACT Wrestling.
A vignette aired during last night's IMPACT Wrestling, showing Maclin in a dimly lit room taking a shot of Irish whiskey. Staring directly into the camera, a graphic concluded the video package, simply reading 'MACLIN'.
PWInsider had reported prior to IMPACT's broadcast that a former WWE star would be debuting on the episode via vignette, with Fightful Select confirming later in the day that Steve Maclin was said star. He was at the latest set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings and will be appearing there going forward, although there's currently no word regarding his official contract status.
The former Steve Cutler made his WWE debut on the 3 July 2014 edition of NXT, losing to the then-CJ Parker, and would be used as a quote unquote enhancement talent for the duration of his stay there until forming the Forgotten Sons with Jaxson Ryker and Wesley Blake. The trio barely made it to the main roster before Ryker's controversial Twitter comments cost them all their spot; a short-lived run as King Corbin's cronies for Blake and Cutler was the last we saw of them.
Steve Maclin was released by WWE on 4 February.
