Sting Vs Brock Lesnar - 10 Ways It Could Be A Major WWE Feud

8. Sting Needs This Hot Start

TNA.comTNA.comSigning Sting is a risk for WWE. As a character he is around 17 years removed from his peak relevancy, modern day WWE is in the main a kids show, many of the casual audience simply have no idea who or what Sting is. Added to this is the fact that at 55 years old, Steve 'Sting' Borden is potentially poor value in terms of actual in-ring wrestling. How do WWE get value out of him then? The answer has to be using him in big ways, using him to put heat on younger stars. In maximising their investment, WWE should introduce Sting with a hot start, they can't allow his debut to be a wave to the crowd and some words on the mic. He should be involved in something that right away seems major. The debut should play out as fans would initially expect, Sting finally addressing the WWE audience. Then Lesnar's music hits, ensuring that Raw closes with an angle that goes from memorable to unforgettable. An out of control Lesnar beating Sting down ensures viewers tune in the next week for answers. Commentary can drop the old line of "Why, Brock, why?"
