He is the main reason why Sting didn't jump ship back in 2001 along with the rest of his WCW colleagues, so surely this is a realistic rivalry. Numerous times in the past Sting's contract with TNA had been coming to a end, however time and time again Dixie Carter had persuaded the legend to stay, even creating a TNA Hall of Fame to try and sweeten the deal. Time and time again Sting would use the excuse that he didn't know what he would get if he jumped to the WWE, so instead of him staying in TNA due to his alliance, is was more due to his uncertainty beyond the mist. Vince McMahon has prided himself on some of the best boss vs employee storylines in the history of professional wrestling, including Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Another pro for Sting feuding with Vince is that both men don't have to wrestle, they can go down the route of Wrestlemania 23 and McMahon's feud with Donald Trump. Should the Undertaker match fall through this is surely the WWE's next best option!
