WWE Network News (a third party website dedicated to updating fans on WWE's subscription service) are reporting that episodes of Sunday Night Heat will be uploaded in bulk on 7 May.

There's no news on how many episodes of the defunct show will be uploaded at launch, but the site do note that WWE will (logically) start from Heat's beginning in 1998; back then, Sunday Night Heat was the second most important program on the weekly schedule behind Raw.

Although that would change over the years due to SmackDown's rise to prominence, Heat did maintain some lustre as a pay-per-view pre-show. By the end in 2008, it was a WWE.com exclusive and more of a recap show with some exclusive matches than must-see programming.

It's interesting to consider that WWE once produced two different versions of the show: one for US consumption and one as part of a deal with the UK's Channel 4. It's more likely the US incarnation will be uploaded in full though, not the UK version.

Heat is the kind of content that, whilst not essential to newer fans, is important from a historical point of view and has a place on the Network.
