The Heenan Family Ranked - From Worst To Best

4. Haku

Okay, so Haku has already been covered in some form in the entry for the Islanders, but the Tongan tough guy was an integral member of the Heenan Family for years after that team split up. Haku would stay under the guidance of Heenan throughout his tenure in the WWF at this time, and experienced a decent level of success both in singles and in tag teams.

His first crown came in the literal sense, as he took the moniker of 'King' from the legitimately injured King Harley Race. He would lose this title to 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan of all people, arguably the least royal wrestler in the history of the World Wrestling Federation.

Haku won tag team gold as part of the Colossal Connection with André the Giant, and was also The Ultimate Warrior's first challenger for the WWF Championship he won at WrestleMania VI. Haku was a true main event gatekeeper in the late '80s and early '90s for the WWF.

He's also widely regarded as the toughest guy in the sport, so I best put him here just in case.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
