The Many Faces Of Cody Rhodes - From Worst To Best

4. Stardust

Cody's current persona is without doubt his most 'out there' to date. In fact, Stardust is so 'out there' that he is billed as being from the 'Fifth Dimension'. I'm not really sure what that is, but it sounds right.

Stardust came about after his team with his brother Goldust began to fall on tough times. This began after they lost their tag titles to the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble in 2014, which is enough to send anyone into a deep depression. Cody told Goldie to find a better tag team partner, and many of us felt like it was finally time for the Cody Rhodes/Goldust feud to happen.

What happened was after a few failed auditions, Cody returned as Stardust. His appearance had changed completely, now sporting face paint, a bodysuit and acting like a stranger version of Goldust. You know a team is weird when Goldust is playing the straight guy.

Stardust would eventually turn on Goldust and the brothers feud happened, albeit to no fanfare at all. Stardust has flittered here and there ever since, feuding over the summer with Neville and Stephen Amell. Yes, that Stephen Amell.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
