Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has hit Instagram to let the world know that he, his wife, and their two daughters have tested positive for the illness currently sweeping the globe.

The 11-minute video sees the pro-wrestling legend confirm that all four them had contracted the virus, though they are "on the other end of it now," having passed the contagious stage.

Calling the past three weeks one of the most challenging and difficult periods of his family life, Johnson said that himself, his wife Lauren Hashian, and their daughters Jasmine and Tiana were counting their blessings as they know that not everyone who suffers from the illness makes it through without suffering permanent damage. Rock claimed that they caught it through close friends who had no idea they were infected, urging viewers to take as many steps as possible to mitigate the risks.

Johnson's daughters mounted quick recoveries, only suffering from headaches, though he stated that he and Hashian had a rougher time, experiencing more severe symptoms.

All the best to The Rock and his family as their recovery continues.
