Due to the somewhat inconclusive ending to their previous encounter at No Way Out, 'Taker and Kurt Angle squared off in a rematch on SmackDown for the World Heavyweight Championship in 2006. Fresh off an amazing contest at the PPV, both men had their work cut out for them trying to produce anything that could match that level of quality. Despite those seemingly insurmountable odds, they delivered.

Doing their best to give us something different, the match highlighted how much they had learned from each other at No Way Out, allowing both of them to focus on scouted weaknesses and avoid falling into certain traps. They once again pushed each other to the limit as they fought backwards and forwards, employing submission hold after submission hold and strike after strike, before they ultimately reached an incredible closing sequence of Chokeslams, Ankle Locks and Tombstones.

The crowd was nothing short of electric, as fans were torn between both face superstars. In the end, all they could do was applaud the efforts of both The Undertaker and Angle.

This sequel may not have exceeded its predecessor, but what makes it somewhat superior to their 2003 clash on the blue brand, is just how hard they worked to outdo themselves. That alone, and the fact that it was a PPV-quality match in itself, puts this right up there as 'The Phenom's finest outing on SmackDown and one of the blue brand's all-time greatest main events.
